Vanguard Adventure Society Tours is an esteemed society of explorers with a rich history steeped in mystery and adventure.
Founded in the early 18th century by a group of pioneers known as the Vanguards. The society attracted explorers from around the world, fostering a spirit of courage, curiosity and camaraderie. Presently, it is known world-wide for it’s famous adventure tours!

Further exploration into vintage transportation logos led to various logo ideas. I felt that this society needed various logos to be used in different occasions. Some would be used as a secretive call to those who are a part of the society, whereas other logos would be seen on the business side and go along with the adventure tours.
I wanted the Vanguard Adventure Society Tours logo to have a rich historic look and feel to it that reflects it’s esteemed history of nobility and values. My first iterations of logos felt stagnant and lacked variety, which I felt the society deserved due to it’s diverse and mysterious history.
