Second Chance Bluegrass
Second Chance Bluegrass is a bluegrass-gospel group from Welcome, NC who are on a mission to share the love and good news of the gospel to everyone.
What started as a family band over twenty years ago has grown and changed significantly over the years to become the group that it is today. As their popularity has grown, the need to set themselves apart in a large music industry has increased.
Although the band has been around since 2002, they have lacked a cohesive brand. In recent years, the band’s popularity has boomed and they have a growing need for social media posts, apparel, and a visual identity that stands out among other bluegrass groups.
2021
APPLICATIONS
Early versions of the logos were heavily inspired by other country and bluegrass music posters and logos. It was important that the new brand feel connected to what fans have recognized for years while still bringing a fresh and modern take on the bluegrass brand.
A strong font and solid vector images helped really tie the brand together. After a discussion with the band, it was determined that one logo would not work. There were multiple applications that would be in use from websites to t-shirts and other places. Three logos would be used and refined.
FINAL LOGOS
Along with the brand, there was also a need for website refurbishment. This overhaul included addition of logos, new photography, editing of the coding and backdoor problems as well as updating the show schedule.
